The Matrix Center (est. 2006) is Matrix Human Services’ thriving community center on Detroit’s east side.
Programs at The Matrix Center are designed to meet the needs of Detroit residents and those of surrounding areas.
Our offered resources are vast and there’s always something new! You can count on The Matrix Center for safe after-school programming, an emergency food pantry, Tuesday Food Distribution, a community clothing closet, computer literacy instruction, counseling, mentoring, educational literacy, GED & High-school completion, employment skill-building, family activities, recreation, financial literacy, the arts, Matrix Head Start, summer youth day-camps, youth basketball & boxing, community events, midnight basketball & boxing for teens and young adults, and a wide array of other initiatives, events and programming.wider
